Amrita – A Virtual Museum of Ayurvedic Beverages
The Amrita Virtual Museum is a conceptual digital space that recreates the sanctity of a traditional Hindu temple in a single square virtual room. Each wall niche (similar to temple devakulikas) becomes a window into the ancient world of Ayurvedic beverages. Through immersive graphics, interactive compositions, and multimedia storytelling, visitors will explore sacred and medicinal drinks like Soma, Sura, Madhu, Madira, Asava, Arishta, and others. Each beverage will be presented with its mythological roots, medicinal value, ingredients, preparation techniques, and cultural significance.
